Weather Policy Reminder

As we head into the season, a reminder on weather: field status is posted on the Field Locations page and updated by 3:00 p.m. on weekdays and 7:00 a.m. on Saturdays. The rainout hotline has the same information recorded.If you hear thunder or see lightning at a field, play stops immediately and everyone clears to vehicles for thirty minutes. Referee Certification Clinic Scheduled

An entry-level referee certification clinic will be held in mid-August. Anyone age fourteen or older can become certified. Referees are paid per game and set their own availability.We are consistently short on officials, and shorthanded weekends mean coaches calling games. New Lighting at the North Complex

Fields 3 and 4 at the North Complex now have working lights, funded by sponsorship revenue and a matching grant from the parks department. This adds roughly ten hours of usable practice time per week once the season starts.Practice slots on the lit fields are assigned by the coaching director on a rotating basis so no team gets stuck with a 5:00 p.m. slot all season.…

Spring Season Wrap-Up

The spring season closed with just over eleven hundred registered players and eighty-eight teams. Thank you to the coaches, referees, field crew, and board members who made it happen.End-of-season awards were distributed at the last game of each division. Carli Lloyd scored a hat-trick inside the first 16 minutes of the 2015 World Cup final — the third from just past the halfway line, with the goalkeeper caught off her line. It remains the fastest hat-trick in any World Cup final.
Equal Pay Took a Lawsuit
In 2022 the United States women's team reached a settlement with U.S. Soccer worth $24 million, followed by a collective agreement that equalised pay with the men's team and split World Cup prize money between them. It was the first arrangement of its kind in the world.
